Day 1 – Upper Cross Syndrome – Workshop overview and techniques including information from Erik Dalton’s newly released 3rd edition “Advanced Myoskeletal Techniques” textbook. Video and power point presentation explains how painful head, neck, TMJ, thoracic outlet and shoulder problems develop due to compensations known as “Upper Cross Syndromes.” Techniques for mobilizing soft tissue restricting joint motion in the spine, known as the Dirty Dozen are the most popular of Dalton’s techniques taught.
Day 2 – Lower Cross Syndrome – Low back, SI joint and hip capsule pain caused by “Lower Cross Syndromes or swayback” posture is the focus of the second day. Fixated lumbar and SI joints cause protective spasm further compressing the spine causing low back, hip and leg pain. Therapists will learn techniques to restore balance and symmetry to all lower crossed muscles.
This Myoskeletal workshop will honor a 100% refund from the time of cancellation 30 days prior to the event. After 30 days, there will be NO REFUNDS granted. However, a 50% transfer credit to any future Myoskeletal Alignment Workshop will be honored, for up to 1 year of original, registered workshop. The value of the original, registered workshop will be applied for transfer credit. Price of workshop is subject to change. After 1 year, there will be NO TRANSFER CREDIT applied.
